A traditional Tunisian horse dance…what a surprise! We got to be part of a real Caravan down to the reservoir with horses and drums and the entire village and then we were treated to this performance. We had no idea that Beni M’tir Tunisia had an annual festival or that it would start tomorrow, but this whole place is just full of surprises all the time!
Haven’t really had Internet access, but here’s where I’ve been all week…teaching and performing!
A rehearsal for our project “Musical Koshary” at El Cabina, Alexandria. I’ve really enjoyed working with and getting to know these guys. They are wonderful hosts and their endurance for playing music all day then staying out all night far outpaces my own.
